Our Mission
Hale Strategic Resources Initiative (HSRI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to independent research, dialogue, and feasibility-driven analysis focused on critical resources, industrial resilience, and long-term economic security, with an emphasis on the American Midwest and cooperation with allied partners abroad, to strengthen vital supply chains.
Charitable donations support HSRI’s public-interest work and help sustain our research, dialogue, and outreach efforts. Donations do not confer governance or editorial influence.

HSRI welcomes support from individuals, institutions, and corporate partners who wish to advance informed dialogue and rigorous analysis in the public interest. All donors are acknowledged for their support (unless anonymity is requested).

HSRI accepts both charitable donations and paid newsletter subscriptions through Stripe. Donations support HSRI’s nonprofit mission and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law; paid subscriptions support HSRI’s publishing work and are not tax-deductible.
